Uncork NY at Wagner Vineyards

When you Uncork NY at Wagner Vineyards you will be sipping four generations of history and dedication to the wine creating process of the Finger Lake region. This vineyard is located on the eastern slopes of Seneca Lake and was started back in 1978 by Bill Wagner. As a life long resident of the area and grower of grapes has made this one of the finer wines available in the industry.

Bill’s unique style is even shown when he designed and built an eight-sided building to house the winery. All of the wines produced by the Wagner family are cultivated and nurtured under their direct supervision. This controls the quality to ensure only the best are used in the wine making process.

Bill also believed that food and wine are a natural combination. That is why in 1983 the Ginny Lee Café was opened. Here visitors can enjoy good food paired up with the appropriate wine while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the lake.

From either the café or the tasting room, the list of available wines are Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Gewurztraminer Dry, Riesling Dry, Melody, Reserve White, Gewurztraminer Semi-Dry, Riesling Semi-Dry, Cayuga White, Delaware, Alta B White, Vignoles, Niagara, Blush, Alta Blush, Sled Dog Red Alta B, Grace House Pinot Noir, Meritage, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabaret Vintners, Reserve Red, Alta B Red, Vignoles Late Harvest, Riesling Ice, Vignoles Ice, Vida Ice and Celebration Cuvee.

Like always the forward thinking of the Wagner family came through again and in 1997 a brewery was added. Thee hand crafted brews are also award winners.

All these fine wines and brews are available at the vineyard. Online wine orders are made through a secure and safe website for those that can not visit in person.
