This family-owned and operated winery was established 20 years ago. This family has over 40 years experience nurturing grapes into delicate wines. Knowing the grapes, soil, and conditions of the local climate in the Finger Lakes community ensures the creation of the finest vintages.
Amberg has three varieties of wines that established their high level of quality – Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. In addition, they have created a new selection of delicate varieties that fit the demand of the discrete connoisseur’s palette; they are Chambourcin, Traminette, and Bianca. Also available are some of the best blends and specialty wines created to dance on your taste buds. Chardonnay Reserve, Sur-lie Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco (Chardonnay/Bianca blend), Pearl (Riesling/Traminette blend), Blush, Pegasus (Riesling/Muskat Blend), Mandolin (Siegfried late harvest), Burgundy, Red Panda (Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend), and the renowned semi-sweet red blend the Red Baron.

Amberg shows their appreciation to all of their customers by offering a free membership to become one of their preferred buyers. This entitles the member to a 5% discount on any and all wine purchases. Eligibility starts on the day you fill out the form.
For the year 2009, the winery is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sundays from noon to 5 pm. If you are unable to visit the winery in person, the online store is always open and ready to fulfill your needs. All online orders are filled and shipped within 5-business days unless one of the area’s famous snowstorms prevents the delivery truck from leaving the premises.
